Simply Amazing!

I paired this GPU with 4gb of 1600mhz memory and a core i-5 750 and no doubt this thing chews up everything i throw at it pretty respectively. i can run far cry 2 maxed out with full AA/AF at 1680 x 1050 (thats the resolution of my monitor), and it runs shy over 40fps, so cranking the AA down really puts up some nice numbers for me.

with the cpu stock, i i scored ~ 10K in 3dmark vantage at 1280 x 1024, and 15K in 3dmark06 at 1280 x 1024.

i ran dirt 2 to check out the dx 11 features and the game runs extremely smooth and the detail is amazing. the Unigine bench really pulls the card to it's knees when maxed out, but then again it's a bench, however, the Uningine bench looks incredible fully maxed out, and runs an average of 24 fps for the benchmark.

for a mid-range build i highly recommend this gpu. if you decide to run two in crossfire i've heard that they can perform in some instances as good as a 5870, and in particular cases better than a 5870. these things scale extremely well, have low power requirements, excellent performance, and are dx 11 capable. do not hesitate, do not purchase a 260gtx or a 4870/4890 over this card. you will be disappointed.

This card came with a coupon to download "dirt 2" on Steam, which I didn't expect. Fun game, by the way. Don't really know how to review something like this. It works just fine and seems like a good value. The fan doesn't make any moise that I could hear, and the directions were good. The HDMI does get sound from somewhere even though I did not connect it to my sound card with a "jumper cable." There doesn't look like there is any place to plug one in, anyway. Video quality is good.
Good Video Card

Just bought another one of these for a second self-built box. Both work fine with Windows 7 Pro, and yield a rating of 6.0 in the Win 7 experience index. I am not a gamer, so keep that in mind. if you are a gamer, you might want to spend it all and get the faster Radeon 58xx-series.
Small, quiet, powerful

As I was purchasing this in Oct 09, AMD has retaken the throne of graphics dominance with the HD 5870 series graphics card, packaging a powerful CPU in a small energy efficient package. This HD 5770 is a smaller cousin of that, and is probably the most powerful sub-$200 graphics card out there. It's powerful, supports Direct X 11, and is relatively quiet and energy efficient. Basically it consumes a similar amount of energy and has a similar operational temperature than the older GeForce 9600 GT or HD 4770 cards, and yet it performs about 30-40% better. If you want a medium range graphics card, this is a great product.
Great Card.

My last card was a 7900GT until it died, so this is a great improvement. Card runs cool and quiet.

I don't know why I keep upgrading. All I play is CS:S.
